Artist statement

Born in the Ruhr Area / Germany in 1976 he studied communication and lived and worked as a fashionstylist in Paris and London, but paper, ink and pencils have always been a steady companion in his life.

With his latest move back to Germany / Berlin in 2018 he changed his path of career in focusing on drawings and collages. “I`ve made a lot of detours in my life, which have been unexpected but at the same time added value to my life.”

The lines in my drawings reflect the status quo of my personal situation. These lines can be narrow or overlapping and are reflecting my inner state of mind, I call it a mind map. Sometimes I ask myself where all these drawings will lead me to, but to be honest I think the lines will guide me to explore new options.
